laughter from my startled mouth.

I feel freedom and joy. Hallelujah! One of my friends reminded me to remember what this feels like. Then, next time I feel discouraged and not understanding anything, to remember that I WILL be able to feel good things again. To remember that one day, my burden will not be a constant and ever-present haze over life.

I have such good people in my life. This last weekend especially was FULL of good, life-giving things. Like fro yo and geocaching and the beach and a rooftop bar and painting children's faces and worship and good, good people.

I feel free!

"So I went practicing.Have you noticed? Have you heard the laughter that comes, now and again, out of my startled mouth? How I linger to admire, admire, admire the things of this world that are kind, and maybe also troubled - roses in the wind, the sea geese on the steep waves, a love to which there is no reply?"
